Vaccination Proof for Indoor Activities (Key to NYC)
As of August 17, people 12 and older are required to show proof they have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized for emergency use by the FDA or WHO for most indoor activities.
The most recent version of the Mayor's executive order 228, we will be applying the attached mask and vaccination requirements beginning Sept 7th.
ACCEPTABLE PROOF OF VACCINATION
For utmost clarity, we will accept the following as proof of vaccination:
- A CDC COVID-19 vaccination record card;
- An official immunization record from the jurisdiction, state, county where the vaccine was administered; (international cards will also be accepted)
- A digital or physical photo of such card or record;
- A New York City COVID Safe Pass;
- A New York State Excelsior Pass.
Presenting us with a negative COVID test does not satisfy the requirement for access to the building. If someone cannot provide us with proof of vaccination, they will be turned away.
EXEMPTIONS
If someone has qualified for a religious or medical exemption, ZeroSpace must be notified in advance. Those individuals will gain access to the building once ZeroSpace has verified and received confirmation from their employer.
Exemptions For Private Events:
Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals may present proof of recent negative diagnostic test result for COVID-19 using an FDA or DOH authorized polymerase chain reaction (PCR) or other nucleic acid amplification test (NAATs) of comparable analytical sensitivity that was performed on a specimen (e.g., swab) collected within 72 hours of the event – or – an FDA authorized antigen test performed on a specimen collected within 6 hours of the event. For such individuals, DOH requires a negative test result for individuals aged 5 and older.
There is no way for us to validate a person's vaccination status in advance at the moment. Every individual will have to present their proof of vaccination or negative test with ID at the door.
Masks:
The CDC advises that individuals wear a mask in public indoor settings. Masks are strongly recommended for fully vaccinated individuals and mandatory for unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals. Individuals may remove their masks indoors while seated and actively eating or drinking.
