General Summary
The Vice President of Sales Operations is responsible for providing support, leadership, and a strategic vision regarding sales for the organization globally. This includes developing sales strategies and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) to help the sales teams run effectively and efficiently, foster growth, and support business strategies and objectives. The VP of Sales Operations will represent the needs of sales in meetings and crossâfunctional projects and acts as a liaison for sales with other parts of the organization.
Typical Duties & Responsibilities of Position:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Streamline interactions between local sales teams and project managers and how they interface with operations, assets, and national teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and productivity, improve profitability, and minimize bureaucracy.
- Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company-wide initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with brand standard procedures and policies.
- Ensure the company’s reputation and corporate values are upheld and enhanced.
Personal Responsibilities
- Assist with customer relationship management, negotiations, and strategic partnerships
- Drive revenue by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while maintaining the current customer base.
- Optimize internal sales processes and enhance efficiency. Identify gaps, needs, and opportunities and formulate recommended solutions.
- Implement, manage, and monitor sales SOPs.
- Monitor current sales projects, including reporting status, progress updates, and identifying areas that require corrective actions.
- Train and support General Managers and LSMs on the use of customer and salesperson data toold within RentalWorks, BI, and Tableau.
- Assist with the recruitment of new sales team members.
- Develop and deliver sales training to new and existing employees. Ensure that sales employees have the required processes, knowledge, skills, resources/content to be successful within their roles.
- Serve as the main point of contact for sales integration for newly acquired locations, including training, finding solutions, and integration into the wider organization.
- Serve as the main point of contact regarding data and reporting needs for customer and salesperson information, working with IT and Application/Development teams as needed to create and verify the accuracy of reports.
- Identify strategies for developing sales talent at all levels within the organization.

Team Responsibilities
- Conduct and attend meetings, training sessions and strategic planning activities to educate the sales force, enhance business opportunities, develop action plans and grow the business
- Build and maintain a wide and strong internal network with RGMs, GMs, SVPs, and supporting functions to ensure efficient and productive output.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings and disseminate information on SOPs and initiatives frequently.
- Effectively communicate customer needs, competitor activities and other market trends to the various 4Wall Entertainment functional stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with 4Wall Entertainment team to fulfill identified needs.
- Encourage and drive a strong sales environment in order to further drive business and excellence within each given market.
- Communicate in a positive, informative and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
Key Requirements:
- Must have a clear understanding and proven track record in sales and leading sales teams
- Minimum of ten (10) years experience in the entertainment industry.
- Minimum of five (5) years management or supervisory experience.
- Must possess outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong ability to speak with poise
- Must be a strong motivator, with ability to execute strategic direction for the company and influence others in support of the strategy
- Ability to travel to perform job duties as described above.
- Ability to direct and support the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
- Computer literacy, franchise systems and financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting required.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.
Availability:
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
