General Summary
The Accounting Compliance Administrator is responsible for reviewing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. Furthermore, ensure that the organization remains in compliance with but not limited to GAAP, IFRS, Banking, and Tax regulations.
Responsibilities of this position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
Guide company internal financial controls by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures to remain in compliance with but not limited to GAAP, IFRS, Banking, and Tax regulations.
Personal Responsibilities
Provide review of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
Assist Corporate Controller in managing external auditors and annual audit requirement.
Coordinate with the Corporate Controller and external tax firm for income tax returns and manage all other sales and property tax filings and audits.
Prepare special reports as requested by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Federal, state, and local regulations by knowing existing and staying on top of new legislation and enforcing adherence to requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
Lead the accounting staff across all company locations.
Participate in interviews, hiring, training, development, and performance evaluations of staff members when necessary and in accordance with 4Wall policies and applicable laws.
Communicate in a positive, informative and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
Key Requirements
Completion of a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
Experience managing an external audit with a big 4 audit firm or equivalent.
Experience in lease assessment and identify classification per GAAP (ASC 842).
Experience in acquisition assessment to identify purchase price accounting per GAAP.
Experience researching and applying GAAP, IFRS, Banking, and Tax Regulations.
Capable of reviewing full financial statement reports for investors & creditors.
Experience developing accounting controls in a mid to large-sized company, preferred
10 to 15 years of financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization of at least 25 staff persons.
Computer literacy, franchise systems and financial management required.
Energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards.
Must possess outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must have exceptional leadership skills and ability to direct, coach, mentor, and develop all levels of employees.
Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.
Availability
Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
