Accounting Manager

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

FLSA Status: ExemptEEO Class: 1.2-First/Mid-Level Officials & Mrgs
Department: Office  
Reports to: Corporate Controller
Supervises: General Accounting Staff 

General Summary

 

The Accounting Manager will work closely with the Corporate Controller, Division Controllers, and the Accounting Compliance Administrator to ensure proper and timely accounting. The Acccounting Manager is responsible for general accounting with a focus on a timely Month Close, General Ledger activity & variances, balance sheet reconciliations, Debt & Lease Accounting. Other duties include but are not limited to actively participating in the annual external audit process by providing support for sample selections, etc. 

 

Responsibilities of this position: Duties include but are not limited to:

Organizational Responsibilities

Maintaining GAAP Compliance throughout assigned duties.

Reviewing financial reports pertaining to assigned work.

Providing excellent service through continued communication with internal business partners.

 

Personal Responsibilities

Reviewing and Preparing journal entries

Managing & Preparing Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Managing Month-end closing processes

Liaise with external auditors and prepare annual audit requirements

Prepare special reports as requested by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Other duties as assigned.

 

Team Responsibilities

Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.

Attend and participate in Finance/Accounting meetings.

Maintain the highest level of customer relations

Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor

 

Key Requirements

10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 4 years in accounting management.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Preferred)

Working knowledge of GAAP

Experienced and skilled in Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Knowledge of accounting software, MAS preferred

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Intermediate or above Microsoft Excel skills

Stable work background

Must maintain GAAP and IFRS Compliance throughout assigned duties.

Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives

 

Availability

Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required

Travel Requirements

Position will require little to no travel.
