General Summary 

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the accuracy and updating of the 4Wall equipment database.  This will include providing coordination, supervision, planning, and support for multiple departments within the shop that are responsible for prep and QC of entertainment event equipment.  This role requires excellent organizational skills that ensure our shop team members are providing the very best customer service.    

Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all jobs and equipment is ready to be dispatched complete, in good order and on time
  • Ensuring all administrative jobs function associated with the operations processes are completed correctly
  • Oversee the warehouse, which includes the Lighting Prep, Rigging and Cable departments.
  • Co-ordinate staffing levels of above departments
  • Co-ordinate staff training departments
  • Act as point of contact between Operations and Prep departments
  • Checking and verifying stock levels for shortages on jobs to go out
  • Ensuring that all motors are in test and cert and the relevant PO’s are raised or the inspection and certification
  • Ensure the operations areas and departments are kept tidy and safe
  • Monitoring whether more staff are required to cover busy periods
  • Monitoring the safe working environment for all employees under your jurisdiction
  • Taking relevant stock checks when needed and keeping stock up to date
  • Any other tasks requested by the Operations Manager
  • Other duties as assigned.

Personal Responsibilities

  • To adhere to all Company health and safety regulations being responsible for your own health and safety and that of others. Ensure fire precautions and emergency procedures are complied with.
  • Ensure compliance within the Company’s written standard of practice and departmental procedures
  • To undertake training and development as necessary as directed by your manager
  • To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as defined by your manager based on the changing needs of the business.
  • To act as an ambassador for 4Wall Entertainment in the representation of the Company at exhibitions, internal/external meetings and events as and when required
  • Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
  • Other duties as assigned.

Team Responsibilities

  • Monitor the safe working environment of all personnel or visitors passing through your areas of jurisdiction
  • Reporting repairs and replacements when encountered on the job

  • Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives

Availability

  • Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.

  • 40 hours per week
