Account Executive
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

General Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for finding business opportunities and managing customer relationships. This may include work in outside sales visiting clients for business development purposes as well as inside sales functions such as quoting and bid process support.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- In coordination with the General Manager, plan and organize a sales strategy for development of revenue streams with new business contacts and customers.
- Provide excellent service to new and existing clients through continued communication to maintain and improve their relationship with the company
Personal Responsibilities
- Achievement of sales, profit, and strategic objectives as determined with Location Sales Manager and General Manager.
- Proactively pursuing in-the-field sales calls.
- Proactively building strategic business relationships.
- Coordination with customers on complex projects from concept to completion.
- Analyzing client needs, quoting prices, preparing the contract, and closing orders.
- Evaluating and reporting on lost sales activity.
- Communicating the equipment and services contracted to all 4Wall departments to ensure all details of the event are covered.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely entries, per company standards, into the RentalWorks database.
- Coordinating outside contract services, as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Attend and participate in sales meetings.
- Maintain the highest level of customer relations
- Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor or General Manager
Key Requirements
- 3-5 years of previous sales and customer service or comparable years in upwardly mobile positions
- Substantial knowledge of the respective local markets
- Familiarity with entertainment lighting, audio, and other special event equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
- Superior Customer Service skills to deal with both internal and external personnel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to plan, organize and implement processes which drive revenue
- Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations and meet deadlines and goals
- Strong PC skills including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.
Availability
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends often.
