4Wall Wins ‘Video Production Company of the Year’ Parnelli Award for Metallica’s M72 World Tour
Anaheim, CA- 4Wall Entertainment was honored to win the 'Video Production Company of the Year' award at the 22nd Parnelli Awards. 4Wall was recognized for its work on Metallica's M72 World Tour, a project that has set a new benchmark in live concert production.
The award ceremony, a highlight of the annual NAMM Show, was held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA, where industry professionals gathered to celebrate excellence in the event production sphere.
For the Metallica M72 World Tour, 4Wall was tasked with providing a comprehensive video production suite that included all cameras, video engineering, advanced disguise GX2c media servers, and an LED control package.
The tour features a groundbreaking ring-shaped stage design, known as the Snake Pit, at its center. This innovative configuration, complemented by an array of production towers, was conceived by Creative Director/Production Designer Dan Braun and supported by Lighting Designer Rob Koenig, and Video Director/Designer Gene McAuliffe. Their vision brought to life an immersive experience that melded monumental scale with a sense of intimate engagement, offering fans a unique view of the legendary rock band.
This accolade is a testament to 4Wall's strong commitment to excellence in video production, a key area of focus within their multifaceted operations for the past five years.
Video Project Manager David Hunkins accepted the award on behalf of 4Wall.
"We're truly honored to receive this recognition, which reflects the passion and hard work our team puts into every stop on this tour," said Hunkins. "We're deeply grateful to the visionary designers, Dan Braun and Gene McAuliffe, for entrusting 4Wall with the video production aspect. Their trust has allowed us to showcase our commitment and innovation in bringing their creative visions to life."
