4Wall Europe is a global video, lighting and rigging service provider at the cutting-edge of event technology. We partner with some of the best-known brands in the world to provide a complete AV and lighting solution for Concerts & Touring, TV Studios, Exhibitions, Virtual Events and other sectors; from design integration services to AV technology installation at virtual events & exhibitions.

We are currently seeking an experienced driver to join our team over the summer.

We’re looking for a candidate with extensive experience driving Long-Wheel-Based vans to deliver and collect Audio Visual equipment to and from our Aylesbury premises.

The successful candidate will have a full clean UK driving license, communicate professionally and effectively at all levels, both in writing and verbally, works well within a team environment, and demonstrates enthusiasm for the task at hand.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safe delivery and collection of a wide range of equipment in a timely fashion and accurate completion of vehicle checklists
• Organisation and filing of pick lists, delivery and collection notes
• Management of paperwork for all delivery/collection jobs - Accurate completion of paperwork everything received into your care is ticked off and ensuring signatures are obtained from clients.
• Check returned equipment for any damage or missing items, report any damaged or missing equipment to line manager, and returning equipment to the warehouse.
• Assist Technicians on installs and derigs where appropriate and assisting in the loading/unloading of vans or trucks.
• When in the warehouse ensure a clean and tidy work area at the end of the day.
• In quiet times, undertake adhoc premises maintenance activities such as mowing the lawn, sweeping the car park, tidying the warehouse etc.
• Any other reasonable duties as required 

Qualifications and pre-requisites

• A full clean UK driving license
• Must have a positive attitude, be team-orientated and have great customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with co-workers and clients, often under deadline pressure.
• Must be able to lift 25kg as duties include loading and unloading trucks.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have good hearing, manual dexterity and visual acuity.
• The willingness and ability to facilitate overtime and flexibility with hours.

Working hours:

5 months Fixed Term Contract - Full time. To include working outside of ‘normal’ business hours. This will include, early mornings, late evenings and some weekend work.
