LOGISTICS MANAGER

General Summary
The Logistics Manager has primary responsibility of providing coordination, supervision, planning, and support for the Drivers Teams. This role requires excellent organizational skills that ensure our team members are providing the very best customer service.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Basic Duties
- Show up on time and ready to work
- Schedule and book outside trucking as required
- Utilize IT-supported software/Apps (i.e., Teams, OKTA, RW, etc.)
- Create and maintain trucking schedule
Workflow In
- Provide trucking quotes to sales team
- Monitor RW orders for trucking information
- Update trucking schedule required
Workflow Out
- Arrange production truck deliveries and pick-ups
- Arrange rental trucks
- Assign drivers to trucks runs
RentalWorks Knowledge
- Availability
- QuikActivity
- Staging
- Check-in
- PO receiving and return
- Transfer receiving and staging
- Pick List Creation
- Adding and removing items to orders at staging screen
- Put an item into repair
- Remove an item from repair
- Mark an item as QC
- Run the QC required report
- Create in and out contracts
- Create damage and L&D orders
Other Duties
- Oversee staff levels of Drivers and work with Operations Manager if there will be shortages in staff.
- Oversee and assist with loading and unloading trailers and/or client pick-ups; identify damaged products when received.
- Control inbound and outbound docks ensuring items are properly scanned and accounted for in an organized, safe manner.
- Ensure all drivers have the training and licenses required to operate their specific vehicles. Ensure all DOT regulations are being adhered to.
- Actively check and respond to 4Wall email while on the clock
- Ensure that all employees, vendors, outside contractors, etc. are operating all job tasks, functions and equipment in a safe manner per company policy and that meets OSHA standards and other governmental or regulatory requirements. Ensure that employees feel comfortable reporting any work place hazards or safety concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements.
- Experience managing drivers and scheduling truck pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to direct, coach, mentor, and support team members.
- Computer skills, including working knowledge of the internet, Outlook, Excel, and the ability to learn new software.
- Must be able to give directions as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
- Must have a positive attitude, be team-oriented and have great customer service skills.
- Understanding and knowledge of theatrical lighting, staging, rigging, and entertainment equipment is preferred
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.; duties include loading and unloading trucks.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time .
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 75 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.
Availability
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.

- Based on the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), management has analyzed this position and determined it to be exempt due to the Executive Exemption.
