Enterprise Cage Clerk

ENTERPRISE CAGE CLERK

JOB DESCRIPTION

FLSA Status: Non-ExemptEEO Class:  7- Operatives
Department: Rentals 
Reports to: Operations Manager / Shop Foreman
Supervises: N/A


General Summary 

The Enterprise Cage Clerk is responsible for keeping the Enterprise Cage clean and organized, storing materials, pulling items for orders, assisting with shipping and receiving, and other general warehouse duties.

Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:

Basic Duties 

  • Show up on time and ready to work 
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area
  • Lead by example 
  • Utilize IT-supported software/Apps (i.e., Teams, OKTA, RW, etc.) 
  • Display excellent customer service/product support 
  • Maintaine accurate sales inventory 
  • Cover for Shipping and Receiving Clerk when not available 

Planning/Communication

  • Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees. 
  • Notify the Shop Operations of any shortages 
  • Notify the Purchasing Agent of any PO Discrepancy 
  • Notify ICM of an inventory adjustments 

Workflow In 

  • Receive incoming POs
  • Maintain organized sales cage 

Workflow Out 

  • Stage sales items for orders 
  • Make sure the shop supplies are added to the in-house order

Other Duties 

  • Maintain and operate per 4Wall quality standards in all work activities.
  • Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor, Operations Manager, or General Manager.
  • Actively encourage and participate with employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
  • Learn and work in other departments within the Shop as requested by the Operations Manager or Shop Foreman..
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • Forklift experience required.
  • Must be able to take directions as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
  • Must have a solid work background, including recent consistent work experience. Gaps must be explainable.
  • Must have a positive attitude, be team-oriented and have great customer service skills.
  • Experience in entertainment lighting industry is strongly preferred.
  • Must be willing to be clean-shaven to pass the medical clearance for fit test.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.; duties may include loading and unloading trucks.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Physical Requirements

The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 75 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.

Availability

  • Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
