General Summary
The Inbound/ Outbound Lead is responsible for managing the check-in, check-out and receiving process. This involves inspecting and organizing all incoming and outgoing gear when returning to the shop per 4Wall quality standards and procedures. This includes all show orders, purchase orders, transfers and parcels; everything in and out of the building.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Responsible for receiving all sub-rentals, transfers, parcels and receiving the PO’s in RentalWorks.
- Sort the sub-hired equipment and make sure it is brought to the proper department in a timely manner prior to order getting staged.
- Make sure all sub-rental PO’s are properly returned in RentalWorks to close out PO’s in a timely manner; per 4Wall SOP on returning sub-rental equipment.
- Maintain and operate per 4Wall quality standards in all work activities.
- Actively encourage and participate with employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
Personal Responsibilities
- With the team, successfully unload trucks, check-in, check-out and inspect all equipment per 4Wall standards.
- Check-in orders, including scanning equipment barcodes and/or entering quantity count data in RentalWorks.
- Check-out orders, including the accuracy of gear pulled, barcodes scanned and Out Contracts created in RentalWorks. Properly manage all Out Contracts for proper record keeping.
- Troubleshoot any conflicts or issues when equipment enters the building.
- Maintain an accurate inventory count per 4Wall procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Learn and work in other departments within the shop as requested by the Operations Manager or Shop Foreman.
- Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Maintain the highest level of customer relations.
- Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor, Operations Manager, or General Manager
Key Requirements
- Must have a working knowledge of all types of 4Wall rental coming in and leaving the shop.
- Must be able to take and give directions, as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
- Must have a solid work background, including recent consistent work experience. Gaps must be explainable.
- Positive attitude, be team-oriented and have great customer service skills, also a MUST.
- Experience in the entertainment lighting and video industry is highly preferred.
- Must be willing to remain clean-shaven to wear a respirator and in order to pass the medical clearance for fit test.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.; duties include loading and unloading trucks.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 50 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.
Availability
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
