National Cross Rental Manager
NATIONAL CROSS RENTAL MANAGER

General Summary
The National Cross Rental Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the Cross Rental team and provide leadership for all aspects of cross rental needs for the organization and all its locations. They are responsible for ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the cross rental processes within the organization. Through the wider team, they are responsible for working with the various sales team members to identify and solve shortages of equipment for each job by securing rental equipment.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Senior VP of Operations and Product Strategy and Director of Operations on any national Standard Operating Procedures and standards that need to be implemented within the company
- Plan, organize, facilitate, attend and/or participate in various department meetings.
- Ensure compliance of all cross rental SOPs
Personal Responsibilities
- Locate and secure all cross rental equipment
- Process Purchase Orders, after ensuring all approvals are in place and let vendors know of any special needs or requests
- Organize and stay up-to-date on Purchase Orders and Rental Orders
- Inform Sales staff of pricing or issues with items ordered from vendors
- Maintain working knowledge of all items in rental inventory, including but not limited to rigging, truss, staging, conventional, moving lights, intelligent lighting consoles, LEDs, and effects
- Other duties as assigned by management
Team Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead, and direct all Cross Rental team members.
- Actively participate in the interviewing, selection and hiring, training and cross-training, performance management, resolving problems, and recommending discipline and/or termination when appropriate, in coordination with HR, of all staff members when necessary.
- Actively encourage and participate with employee engagement and culture building initiatives
- Ensure that team members have personal growth opportunities and assist with career path goals.
- Ensure that all employees, vendors, outside contractors, etc. are operating all job tasks, functions and equipment in a safe manner per company policy and that meets OSHA standards and other governmental or regulatory requirements. Ensure that employees feel comfortable reporting any work place hazards or safety concerns
- Communicate in a positive, informative and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Maintain the highest level of customer relations.
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of entertainment lighting, video, rigging, and other special event equipment
- Knowledge of respective markets within each location, region, and nationally
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
- 1-3 years of supervisory and leadership experience
- Must possess outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong ability to speak with poise.
- Must possess excellent training skills.
- Must have exceptional leadership skills and ability to direct, coach, mentor, and develop employees / direct reports.
- Must be a strong motivator, with ability to execute strategic direction for the company and influence others in support of the strategy.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 75-100 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.
Availability:
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
