Senior Labor Coordinator

General Summary
The Senior Labor Coordinator has primary responsibility of providing coordination, supervision, planning, and support for all labor-related initiatives, which may include temporary/freelance. This role requires excellent organizational skills that ensure that all events/jobs requiring labor are properly staffed with quality employees that will represent the 4Wall Entertainment brand favorably and are providing the very best customer service. In addition, the Senior Labor Coordinator will work on National Labor initiatives including supporting all labor coorinators and working on acquisition onboarding and integrations.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Director of Events/GM/RGM to establish objectives, budgets, and strategies.
- Work closely with Account Executives/Project/Ops Managers to understand specific labor needs.
- Ensure compliance of brand standard procedures and policies.
- Ensure company’s reputation and corporate values are upheld and enhanced.
Personal Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship with all labor companies ensuring 4Wall Entertainment is receiving favorable pricing, outstanding quality in labor pool, and excellent service.
- Scheduling, coordination, and supervision of all temporary and contracted employees per specification of event/job
- Ensure that all temporary and contracted works are properly trained
- Process all temp labor payroll through CAPS including timesheet preparation, batch preparation, submission and approval.
- Ensure all policies related to labor are being adhered to and enforced consistently.
- Using the database to ensure proper staffing of events occurs and rectify any foreseen shortages in labor in a timely manner
- Ensure timely and successful labor according to customer/department needs and objectives.
- Evaluating and reporting on any employees or contract workers that are not performing to standards.
- Coordinating outside labor services per policy and as required
- Act as a point person for 3rd party labor vendors (i.e., CAPS, LASSO, etc.)
- Support all Labor Coordinators including answering questions, training, etc. as needed.
- Assist acquisition processes by aiding with pre-work, onboarding, and integration.
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Provide direction, coordination and support to all employees and contracted workers
- Ensure that all employees and contracted workers are operating all job tasks, functions and equipment in a safe manner per company policy and that meets OSHA standards and other governmental or regulatory requirements. Ensure that employees feel comfortable reporting any work place hazards or safety concerns
- Communicate in a positive, informative and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment/CAPS employees.
Key Requirements
- 2-5 years of previous labor coordinating experience
- Knowledge of the respective local job and staffing markets
- Familiarity with entertainment lighting, audio, and other special event equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
- Superior Customer Service skills to deal with both internal and external personnel
- Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which drives revenue
- Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations and meet deadlines and goals
- Strong PC skills including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.
Availability
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.

- Position may require travel to other locations and acquisitions as needed.
