General Summary
The Prep Coordination Lead is responsible for working with the Project team to test and prepare all lighting equipment for shipment to the job sites.
Responsibilities of the position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate per 4Wall quality standards in all work activities.
Personal Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Prep/Fabrication Leads to ensure they have the necessary documentation and tools to complete a successful prep in a timely manner and maintain project schedule.
- Print Necessary Cutsheets and applicable install instructions (if available) prior to the commencement of that fixture type’s prep.
- Label equipment with Location Type, UID, Scene, and Address information (subject to change per Project Needs)
- Extract information required for Labels from Prep Request forms and Master UID Schedule
- Print Labels as per specific Project requirements (All versions: Color, size, corresponding information, etc.)
- Distribute Labels to prep teams to complete their preps (Please drop in assigned label drop off areas once printing is complete).
- Manage and Prioritize label printing needs based off project schedules.
- Use Smart Sheet Prep Label Queue to maintain consistency and organize requests among all projects.
- Assist Logistic Technician (as needed) with counting in and labeling large shipments upon receiving them from the manufacturer.
- Collect Return Material Authorization (RMA) information from the Prep/Fabrication Leads and distribute to coordinators for processing, then hand elements that need to be returned to Logistics Tech to await further instruction from Coordinators or Project Management.

- Serial Number (if applicable)
- What is wrong with the unit? Damaged light engine, damaged lens or accessory, won’t power on, etc.
- Take Photos of the Damage

- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Maintain the highest level of customer relations.
- Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor, Operations Manager, or General Manager
Key Requirements
- Experience with entertainment technology (specifically lighting and control)
- Excellent computer skills and familiarity with applicable hardware and software
- Experience working safely with hand and power tools.
- Experience operating large vehicles (Box trucks, vans, etc.)
- Experience operating heavy equipment (Aerial platforms, forklifts, etc)
- Willingness to learn, be trained and acquire certifications (i.e OSHA, Forklift, etc.)
- Ability to self-manage, take initiative, and energetic.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and service-oriented mentality and approach
- Good driving skills and a clean DMV record
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk. Regular use of computer monitors, and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 75-100 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuities such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.
Availability
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
