LED Technology Specialist

LED TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST 

JOB DESCRIPTION

General Summary 

The LED Technology Specialist is responsible for designing, configuring, prepping, programming, executing, and providing long term support for LED tile, and LED Processing.

Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent service to all customers, vendors, employees, and visitors at all times.  

Personal Responsibilities

  • When requested by sales team members in specific location, advising the design and specification of LED tile systems from client concept to implementation, in coordination with Client, Sales, Project Management, and all other involved departments.
  • Producing content templates for clients based on the overall system design, in coordination with sales, engineering, and project management.
  • Executing LED tiles from pre-production to installation, tech, run, and strike of these systems.
  • Prepping LED tile in the shop and going on site to install and program.
  • Building and leading teams of LED technicians in warehouse for prep and on-site to execute successful projects.
  • Advising the national training team on the LED training needs of the independent contractors and staff based in the New York metropolitan area. Assisting in the coordination of LED training opportunities for the region with training to be conducted by the national training team.
  • Consulting with clients on their system needs and familiarizing them with equipment, processing, and video system integration.
  • Consulting on the labor and time needs for LED projects.
  • Creating documentation for on-site LED techs per project, including repeat standard installations and as needed.
  • Advising the integration team/ VP of LED Services on technical issues and successes on-site as they pertain to asset management.
  • Advising the NY warehouse on technical issues that do not pertain to QC standards and processes or the overall management of assets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Team Responsibilities

  • Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees. 
  • Maintain the highest level of customer relations.
  • Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor or General Manager.
  • Coordinating with all onsite departments to facilitate their networking needs.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in entertainment lighting, staging and video business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain friendly, professional demeanor at all times.
  • Must be able to effectively meet deadlines and goals.
  • Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet.
  • Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives. 

Physical Requirements

The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors, and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort. When on a show, the job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk for long periods of times (regularly 10+ hours a day). Regular use of computer monitors, and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 75-100 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.

Availability

  • Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
