The Director of A/V Integration is responsible for leading 4Wall A/V operational teams on permanent A/V System installation projects by managing the execution phase of a project and making sure that essential tasks are completed on-time, within the estimated budget for the project and in compliance with contracted project specifications and requirements. The Director of A/V Integration will liaise between customers and internal teams to ensure the timely successful execution of the customers’ needs and requests. This includes work in coordination with outside 4Wall Sales Associates and Account Managers visiting clients for business development purposes as well as design, engineering & labor estimates as bid process support.

Organizational Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate per 4Wall quality standards in all work activities.
- Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
- Implementing production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.
- Meet Systems financial objectives by forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.
Personal Responsibilities
- Manage the A/V Systems & Design project team.
- Act as a high level Project Manager.
- Interface with Sales regarding project budget and margin goals.
- Meet with National Project Director in post mortems on key or large-scale projects.
- Maintain an active project report.
- Coordinate Technicians for A/V project work.
- Oversee the maintenance of certifications for A/V Project Managers & A/V Technicians.
- Recommend staffing needs for projects in support of the Project Manager’s labor requests.
- Manage A/V Systems shop space needs with the National Project Director.
- Train new A/V Project Managers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Ensure that all A/V project employees, vendors, outside contractors, etc. are operating in a safe manner that meets OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements. Ensure that A/V employees feel comfortable reporting any workplace hazards or safety concerns.
- Will meet defined objectives, provide timely reporting, training, coaching and discipline.
- Ensure proper recruiting, selecting, orientation, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining of A/V employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years in supervisory and leadership experience managing various types of teams.
- Substantial knowledge of the respective local markets.
- Familiarity with entertainment video, audio, and other special event equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized.
- Superior Customer Service skills to deal with both internal and external personnel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to plan, organize and implement processes which drive revenue.
- Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations and meet deadlines and goals.
- Strong PC skills including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, aside from project job-sites, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.
Availability
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends often.
Position Location and/or Territory and Travel
- Position will require travel on occasion.

- Full-Time/Regular.
- Based on the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), management has analyzed this position and determined it to be exempt due to the Outside Sales Exemption.
