General Summary
The LED Repair Technician is responsible for repairing LED tile. This includes replacing individual LED pixels, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining all equipment per 4Wall quality standards and procedures.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate per 4Wall quality standards in all work activities.
- Actively encourage and participate with employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.
Personal Responsibilities
- Repair damaged LED video tiles.
- Test and troubleshoot LED video parts and components.
- Hand soldering pixels on LED tiles.
- Recalibrate LED pixels to properly match.
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Learn and work in other departments within the Shop as requested by the Operations Manager or Shop Foreman.
- Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Maintain the highest level of customer relations
- Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor, Operations Manager, or General Manager
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years experience performing LED pixel module repairs.
- Must have good troubleshooting and repair skills
- SMD/SMT Rework / Repair experience on PCB, computer electronics, or microchips.
- Must have the ability to perform delicate, tedious repairs.
- Experience repairing ROE and Absen LED modules required, experience repairing Unilumin modules prefferd.
- Must have the ability for critical visual detections and color balance.
- Must have a solid work background, including recent consistent work experience. Gaps must be explainable.
- Must be able to take directions as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
- Must have a positive attitude and be team oriented.
- Experience in entertainment A/V industry is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk. Regular use of computer monitors, and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 50 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.
Availability:
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
- Must be available and willing to be on call, as necessary.
