General Summary
The Director of Video Technology is responsible for identifying video technology needs, conducting market research on product offerings and integrating plans with National Asset staff, Technical Directors, Video Department Leads and Project Managers. This role requires superior video product knowledge to assist 4Wall’s video sales and technical staff. This role includes building relationships with internal/external clients and strive to be a resource at 4Wall
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Maintain a high degree of readiness to support video staff across the organization
- Provide support and expertise of video products and technology across the organization
Personal Responsibilities
- Provide support and expertise to all video team members, sales staff, project managers and road crew
- Collaborate with the National team regarding new technology in the video market that would be a good fit for rental inventory
- Collaborate with the sales staff, Technical Directors and Project Managers on best practices to implement new technology into their jobs
- Collaborate with the integration team in creating SOPs for prep and maintenance of new technology products
- Collaborate with sales staff and project managers on creating quotes for technical projects
- All other duties as assigned.

- Communicate in a positive, informative and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees
- Work in a safe manner per company policy and that meets OSHA standards and other governmental or regulatory requirements
Key Requirements:
- In depth knowledge of video equipment including brands, uses, values, etc.
- Knowledge of vendors, distributors, and all other suppliers related to 4Wall
- Substantial knowledge of 4Wall equipment, processes, and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
- Superior Customer Service skills to deal with both internal and external personnel
- In depth knowledge of Rental Works
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in organizational best practice implementation
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.
Availability:
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
Position Location and/or Territory and Travel:
- Position is located in PA
- Position will require around 20% travel but will be dependent on business requirements.
