Staff Accountant I

STAFF ACCOUNTANT I

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to: Accounting Manager
Supervises: N/A

 

General Summary

The Staff Accountant I will be responsible for general accounting duties.

Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent service through continued communication with internal business partners

Personal Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all facets of Concur Expense Reporting, from providing support to all CC Users to preparing all related Journal Entries and Acct Recs. 
  • Responsible for all facets of FedEx and UPS accounting, from reconciling location reports to preparing Journal Entries and Acct Recs.
  • Will perform other accounting duties as determined by the Accounting Manager, including trial balance analytical reviews, journal entries, acct recs and bank recs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Team Responsibilities

  • Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees. 
  • Attend and participate in Finance/Accounting meetings.  
  • Maintain the highest level of customer relations
  • Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience in Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Knowledge of accounting software, MAS preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Intermediate or above Microsoft Excel skills
  • Stable work background
  • Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives

Physical Requirements

The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors, and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.

Availability:

  • Must be available on-call in the evenings and weekends, as required.
