General Summary
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis for the financial organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director of FP&A conducts financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure accurate and timely reporting to the Executive staff and the Board of Directors. This role is responsible for creating and reviews analysis results, partnering with the accounting department to understand business variances and create accurate predictions of financial performance, as well as develop insightful suggestions that leads strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities of this position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Oversee all functions of the financial planning and analysis function for the Company
- Organize, prepare and present reports for review with executive management team
- Proactively help to develop the management proficiency in interpreting and acting on quantitative metrics to improve organizational performance
Personal Responsibilities
- Update and improve upon monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages to the Executive Staff, Lender Organizations, and Board of Directors
- Drive the annual budgeting and planning process in collaboration with leadership
- Develop, implement, and manage the rolling budget and forecast process
- Perform monthly variance analysis of budgeted/forecasted against actual financial performance, clearly interpreting and documenting variances and cost drivers
- Working closely with the sales team to develop improved reporting
- Performs job costing analysis
- Special projects and ad hoc analyses as required by management
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Lead Senior Analysts and other analysts, if applicable.
- Participate in interviews, hiring, training, development, and performance evaluations of staff members when necessary and in accordance with 4Wall policies and applicable laws.
- Ensure that all team members maintain high customer relations for internal and external customers.
- Communicate in a positive, informative and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
Key Requirements
- Completion of a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years work experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, consulting, and/or corporate finance.
- Excel mastery and proven experience in building strong financial models required
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Extremely strong analytical, problem-solving skills and business acumen
- Project and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints in a complex system and business environment
- Energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards.
- Must possess outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have exceptional leadership skills and ability to direct, coach, mentor, and develop all levels of employees.
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
- Must possess excellent business professionalism and be capable of conducting yourself well, capable of presenting to leadership at the highest level of the organization.
Highly Desirable Experience
- Although not required, there is a strong preference for individuals with:
- Prior experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity environments
- Experience with financial reporting to lenders of financing institutions
- Exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions, including integration of FP&A functions
- Financial due diligence processes on both Buy-Side and Sell-Side
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.
Availability
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
Position Location and/or Territory and Travel
- Preference is for individuals willing to work from or relocate to the Las Vegas HQ
- Willing to consider travel to the Las Vegas office as needed
- Occasional travel to locations throughout the U.S. and UK may be required.

- Based on the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), management has analyzed this position and determined it to be exempt due to the Executive Exemption.
