General Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for general & expense related accounting duties including related internal credit card transactions, reimbursable expenses, monthly reporting and analysis, balance sheet & intercompany reconciliations, credit card issuance, termination, and limit changes.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Providing excellent service through continued communication with internal business partners.
Personal Responsibilities
- Accounting and providing analysis of expenses, travel, and leases.
- Preparing journal entries.
- Preparing expense & margin analysis & other ad-hoc reporting.
- Preparing Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
- Month-end closing processes.
- KPI (Key performance Indicators) reporting and analysis and ad-hoc reports.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses/research as required by management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Attend and participate in Finance/Accounting meetings.
- Maintain the highest level of customer relations
- Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting & analysis experience. (G&A, COGS, Margin, Assets)
- High Volume (500+) Credit Card & Reimbursable expense accounting experience preferred.
- Concur Expense SaaS experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Experienced and skilled in Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: Minimum pivot tables, sumif formulas, vlookup.
- Ability to work independently and problem solve.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.
Availability:
- Must be available on-call in the evenings and weekends, as required.
- 6am/7am PST start time M-F, 1-2 weekends required per month.
