General Summary
The VP of Human Resources will oversees the planning, development, implementation and administration of the company’s human resources strategies in the areas of organizational development, recruitment and staffing, employment law, performance management, training, employee relations, and compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Participates in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a strategic partner, but particularly from the perspective of the impact on people.
- Providing professional level advice and counsel to executives, supervisors, administrators and managers across entire range of employee relations and organizational matters including performance assessment and management, labor relations, corrective actions, dispute resolution, compensation and classification; recruitment and retention; and organizational structure and staffing.
Personal Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate 4Wall Entertainment’s HR function to ensure its efficiency and effectiveness.
- Translate strategic business plans into operational plans that deliver organizational value. Develop a strategic human resource plan that aligns with the business
- Develops staffing and employer brand strategies and implementation plans and programs to identify talent within and outside the organization. Identifies appropriate and effective external sources for candidates for all levels within the organization.
- Ensure that talent gaps are identified and develop specific programs for filling gaps through succession planning.
- Ensure progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs that are motivating and serve the organization well from both a short and long-term perspective.
- Create learning and development frameworks to ensure consistent development of employees.
- Manage the HR budget and other location budgets as it relates to staffing, HR initiatives, etc.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Management of all individual personnel and workforce management actions including hires, promotions/demotions/transfers, terminations and/or layoffs as necessary.
- Continues improving, developing, and implementing the programs, policies, practices and processes associated with meeting the strategic and operational people issues of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years of increasingly responsible salaried Human Resources administrative and supervisory experience.
- Proficient in all employment laws and regulations
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to customer service excellence
- The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
- Excellent level of decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility
- The ability to plan, organize, and delegate tasks and activities
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.
Availability:
- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
