General Summary
The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for storing materials, pulling items for orders, assisting with shipping and receiving, and other general warehouse duties by 4Wall quality standards and procedures.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate per 4Wall quality standards in all work activities
Personal Responsibilities
- Issuing or distributing materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers based on information from incoming requisitions.
- Keeping records on damage of stock. Reporting any damage to management.
- Responsible for working with vendors and RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations).
- Receiving materials into the stockroom; verify quantities received.
- Unpacking items to be stocked on shelves in the stockroom and storing items in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Clean, maintain organization and keep items stocked in the stockroom.
- Determining proper storage methods, identification and stock location based on turnover.
- Maintain inventory; verifying inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigating discrepancies and adjusting errors.
- Assess supply needs based on inventory usage.
- Conferring with management regarding stock procurement and availability.
- Recommending disposal of excess, defective or obsolete stock.
- May include branding of equipment, as required.
- Coordinating with and providing backup support to the shipping/receiving department
- Wear the proper safety mask when painting at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Learn and work in other departments within the Shop as requested by the Operations Manager or Shop Foreman.
- Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Maintain the highest level of customer relations.
- Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor or General Manager
Key Requirements:
- Previous stock room experience required.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills in order to work well with clients and the Company’s employees.
- Must be able to take directions as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
- Must have a solid work background, including recent consistent work experience. Gaps must be explainable.
- Must have a positive attitude, be team-oriented and have great customer service skills.
- Experience in entertainment lighting industry is strongly preferred.
- Must be willing to be clean-shaven to pass the medical clearance for fit test.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.; duties may include loading and unloading trucks.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 50 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.

- Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
