Quality Control Lead

General summary
The Quality Control Lead is responsible for ensuring all quality standards are being met such as all branding being consistent as well as making repairs and fabricating custom items per 4Wall quality standards and procedures.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate per 4Wall quality standards in all work activities
Personal Responsibilities
- Ensuring all branding is consistent, by inspecting existing equipment, stenciling the logo, etc. This could also include minor repairs and branding such as bar-codes, stickers, etc.
- Ensure all equipment delivered to the prep area and loading dock are complete, organized, and presented as outlined in 4Wall SOPs
- Monitor and improve quality to ensure customer expectations are met
- Interface with customers and communicate / resolve any issues during prep with Operations Manager and Department Heads
- Implement existing standards for quality and presentation
- Other special projects as assigned by the Operations Manager
- Other duties as assigned.
Team Responsibilities
- Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
- Maintain the highest level of customer relations
- Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor, Operations Manager, or General Manager
Key Requirements:
- Must have good computer skills and take a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repair.
- Must be able to take directions as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
- Experience in entertainment lighting industry is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to lift 75-100 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, and squat on a regular basis
- Must be able to stand for long periods of times.
- Must be able to handle/use various hand tools
- Using necessary welding and carpenter’s tools
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 75-100 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.
Availability:
• Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
