INTERN 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to:  Department Supervisor/Manager/Director
Supervises: N/A


General summary 

The intern will assist in the office and/or warehouse areas, including but not limited to production, film, rigging, and moving lights. You will be responsible for gaining a working knowledge of department and completing any other tasks assigned to you by management.

Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Maintain and operate per 4Wall quality standards in all work activities 
  • Actively encourage and participate with employee engagement and culture-building initiatives.

Personal Responsibilities

  • Assist in office and/or different warehouse areas, including but not limited to production, film, rigging, and moving lights.
  • Gain a working knowledge of department and completing any other tasks assigned to you by management.

Team Responsibilities

  • Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees. 
  • Maintain the highest level of customer relations
  • Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor, Operations Manager, or General Manager

Key Requirements:

  • Must have good troubleshooting and repair skills a plus
  • Customer service experience is a plus
  • Must be able to take directions as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision
  • Must have a solid work background and/or coursework, including recent consistent work experience for the department being hired for. Gaps must be explainable
  • Experience in entertainment lighting industry is strongly preferred
  • Must be willing to remain clean shaven to wear a respirator, if applicable, and in order to pass the medical clearance for fit test
  • If working in warehouse, must be able to lift 75-100 lbs.; duties include loading and unloading trucks 
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Physical Requirements

The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly stand and walk. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must regularly push, pull, bend, climb, reach, twist, and kneel as well as lift and/or move 75-100 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include communication and visual acuity such as close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the employee will not be in a temperature-controlled work environment and may experience temperature variations due to local weather conditions.

Availability:

    •  Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
