Director of Training

DIRECTOR OF TRAINING

JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Office 
Reports to: Director of Integration 
Supervises: Various Trainers on a dotted line


General Summary

The Director of Training is responsible for training and development of all shop employees throughout all 4Wall locations.  This includes identifying training needs, training on SOPs/brand standards,  and be a  part of the acquisition team for training initiatives.  

Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:

Organizational Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high degree or readiness to support Operations across the organization.  
  • Implement corporate-wide policies and procedures which will promote work standardization and consistency across the organization.

Personal Responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing training for all shop employees, as required, including identifying trainers for various equipment, creating and updating training materials for all departments and functions (PowerPoint decks, videos, tutorials, etc.)
  • Acts as main point of contact for training of Shop employees 
  • Visits locations frequently to evaluate training needs, conduct/facilitate training sessions, and  assist with training questions and concerns, etc.  
  • Coordinating with manufacturers, internal resources, etc. to conduct training programs, as required.  
  • Coordinate with HR on onboarding and training of all shop employee
  • Identify and track specific skills, knowledge, and experience of shop employees for succession planning and career paths.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Team Responsibilities

  • Regularly participate in acquisition meetings, company events and initiatives
  • Communicate in a positive and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees. 
  • Maintain the highest level of customer relations
  • Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns to your direct supervisor. 

Key Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of 4Wall departments 
  • Experience training on various equipment 
  • Must possess great attention to details
  • Ability to project manage
  • Must possess outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong ability to speak with poise
  • Must have exceptional leadership skills and ability to direct, coach, mentor, and develop team members
  • Must be a strong motivator, with ability to execute strategic direction for the company and influence others in support of the strategy
  • Must adhere to all company policies, SOPs, and other management directives. 

Physical Requirements

The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.

Availability

  • Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
