General Summary
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) works in partnership with the Board, and is responsible for the success of 4Wall Lighting Entertainment. The CEO is responsible for management and day-to-day operation, and has the authority to carry out these responsibilities, in accordance with the direction and policies established by the Board. The CEO provides updates and recommendations to the Board as well as oversees management of the accounting, sales, operations, marketing, HR, and M&A departments.
Responsibilities of Position: Duties include but are not limited to:
Organizational Responsibilities
- Helps the Board determine 4Wall Lighting Entertainment values, mission, vision, and short- and long-term goals and ensures implementation of plans for achievement.
- Keeps the Board fully informed on the condition of 4Wall Lighting Entertainment and on all the important factors influencing it.
- Works with Board to ensure financing to support short- and long-term goals.
- Informs the Board and its committees about trends, issues, problems and activities and makes recommendations.
- With the Board President/Chair, focuses Board attention on long-range strategic issues.
- Manages the Board’s process to assure timely attention to core issues.
Personal Responsibilities
- Provides general oversight of all 4Wall Lighting Entertainment activities, manages the day-to-day operation, and assures a smoothly functioning, efficient organization.
- Assures the filing of all legal and regulatory documents and monitors compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Identifies problems and opportunities and addresses them; brings those which are appropriate to the Board and/or its committees; and, facilitates discussion and deliberation.
- Assures program quality and organizational stability through development and implementation of standards and controls, systems and procedures, and regular evaluation.
- Assures a work environment that recruits, retains and supports high quality staff. Assures process for selecting, development, motivating, and evaluating staff are fair, consistent, and effective.
- Serves as chief spokesperson for 4Wall Lighting Entertainment, assuring proper representation of 4Wall Lighting Entertainment to the community.
- Work closely with the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) to prepare annual budgets, complete risk analysis on potential investments, and advise the Board of Directors with regard to investment risk and return

- Provides direction, coordination and support to all direct reports for the achievement of organizational objectives and financial goals.

- Ensure that all team members maintain high customer relations for both internal and external customers.
- Actively participate in the interviewing, selection and hiring, performance management, and/or termination when appropriate, in coordination with HR, of all senior team members when necessary.
- Maintains an environment that supports personal and professional growth.
- Communicate in a positive, informative and professional manner with all 4Wall Entertainment employees.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of bachelor's degree and an MBA preferred
- 4-6 years relevant experience working M&A, corporate or business development.
- At least 5 years of high level experience developing business relationships, consultative selling of a professional organization, and developing strategies to align partnerships.
- Ability to engage with middle/senior management to understand needs, communicate finding.
- Ability to plan, communicate the strategy and pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and be accountable for results.
- High proficiency with Microsoft products especially Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) to communicate and analyze financial information and salesforce for recording activities in the field
- Excellent organizational, time management, planning, and problem solving/decision making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines to meet strategic business objectives.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Integrity, ethics, and business values must be of the highest level including solid morals and values at an individual level.
Physical Requirements
The job duties and tasks of this position require the employee to regularly sit. The employee may choose to stand and move within their working area. Regular use of computer monitors and a keyboard/mouse will be required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 2 pounds. Other physical requirements of the job include the ability to communicate. Generally, the employee will be in a temperature-controlled work environment set for general comfort.
Availability:
• Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
